1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using DriveEase (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.
2. Use of the Platform
DriveEase provides a platform for car discovery and fleet management. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to use certain features of the Platform.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Identity Verification & KYC
To maintain the safety and security of our community, DriveEase requires users to undergo identity verification (KYC). By using the Platform, you agree to:
- Document Collection: Upload a valid driver's license and national ID (e.g., Emirates ID or Passport).
- Accuracy: Ensure that all provided documents are current, legible, and authentic.
- Storage: Consent to the secure storage of these documents in our encrypted "Vault" for the purpose of booking verification and fraud prevention.
4. Rental and Service Terms
All car rentals booked through the Platform are subject to the specific rental agreement provided by the fleet owner or rental company. DriveEase acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the rental contract between the user and the vehicle provider.
- Insurance: Users must ensure they have adequate insurance coverage as required by local laws.
- Vehicle Condition: Users are responsible for inspecting the vehicle before use and reporting any damages.
- Prohibited Uses: Vehicles may not be used for illegal activities, racing, or off-roading unless explicitly permitted.
4. Fees and Payments
Pricing for services is displayed on the Platform. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. DriveEase is not responsible for any payment processing errors.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DriveEase and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the United Arab Emirates. DriveEase and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of the UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
